Who can apply for DivideBuy interest free credit?
  • Applicants must be aged between 18 and 100
  • A permanent UK resident
  • Have a valid debit or credit card
  • Have a valid UK mobile number
  • Have a valid UK email address
Are there limits on how much I can spend?

The limit is up to £12,500. Credit terms offered are set on an individual retailer basis.

Is there a minimum spend amount to pay with DivideBuy?

Yes. In order to use DivideBuy as your payment method, you must spend a minimum of £600.

Will my credit score be affected by an eligibility check?

When you complete a soft credit check with the Eligibility Checker, this will show on your credit file. However, this will not affect your credit score and will not be visible to other lenders.

Will a credit check be performed on me to purchase?

Yes. A credit check is performed to assess your eligibility during your application. DivideBuy uses a third-party credit reference agency, TransUnion, to perform a full credit check when completing an application. This is known as a hard search and will leave a footprint on your credit file and is visible to other lenders. This could impact your credit score. We recommend that you use the Eligibility Checker tool before applying, which will run a soft credit check and give you an indication of whether you may be eligible for the amount you wish to borrow.

I have been directed to DivideBuy’s website to pay for my purchase. Is this correct?

Yes, that is correct. You’ll be redirected to our checkout to complete your credit application and purchase. Once this has been completed, you will be redirected back to the retailer’s website.

How do I make the monthly payments?

Payment is collected via a Continuous Payment Authority (CPA). This method uses your long card number, expiry date and three-digit CV2. Payments will be collected automatically on the date your instalment is due.

What if I would like to cancel/ return my order?

The first step is to contact us directly to cancel your order. If you have already received your order, you'll need to arrange for it to be returned using our returns process. We will then contact DivideBuy on your behalf to confirm your order has been returned, so we can issue a refund and cancel your credit agreement.

My application was declined. Now what?

We're sorry that your application has been declined. You have the right to appeal this decision, although there is no guarantee that the outcome will change. You can request an appeal by contacting DivideBuy at customerservice@dividebuy.co.uk. You may be asked to provide additional information to support your appeal.

You may also want to obtain a copy of your credit file before making any further applications. The credit reference agency used for your Zopa Bank application are set out below.

Are there any fees or hidden charges?

There are no hidden charges.

Where an interest bearing credit product is selected, DivideBuy will charge a fixed interest rate as part of the repayment instalments. This is explained by the following representative example:

Representative Example: A loan of £2,000.00 over 24 months will cost you £93.86 per month at a representative 12.9% APR. The total cost after 24 months is £2,242.37, which includes £242.37 interest at 12.9% fixed and a £0 fee. The total amount of credit is £2,158.96.

This is all explained in the documentation provided before you electronically sign at the checkout process.

Are interest-free options available?

Unfortunately at this time we only offer interest-bearing options with DivideBuy.
